Alison's Letter About 3rd Grade

Tuesday night I went to "back to school" night in Ali's classroom where I got to meet her teacher and hear a bit about what the class is doing at school. Each child had written a letter to their parent(s) during the school day. Here's Ali's letter -- apparently she *really* likes her new teacher. I like him too.

By the way, when Alison does her homework at the kitchen table after school, Andrew insists on having homework to work on too!

I'm really taken with Alison's latest picture from her art class. I believe this is called "Superbear." Note that he (she?) is simultaneously kicking the soccer ball into the goal and dribbling the basketball. Coincidentally, Alison's soccer season finishes next week and her next sport, basketball, starts at the beginning of December.

The "1M" at the top of her page is to signify that she is in Mrs. Menzel's 1st grade class.
